Pork shoulder roast
1 onion finely chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 bottle BBQ sauce (16oz)
1/2 c water
1 tsp ginger
1/4 c honey
Place the pork and the onion in the crockpot. Mix all of the other ingredients together and pour over meat. Turn crockpot on high for 6 hrs. When it is done, pick the pork apart with a fork to make it shredded.
To make the sandwich, place on a bun. (I used homemade, recipe to come) and top with some shredded Mozerella chesse. Made for a delicious lunch. I forgot to take a picture of the sandwich, we must have been too excited to eat them!
Note: Instead of honey this past time I made it, I used brown sugar. (we aren't quite sure if Eli is allergic or not, but he had a funny reaction one time so we are waiting a bit before he gets another taste of it) Still tasted just as good.
